People often inquire about the number of sessions required to observe meaningful progress. Determining this precisely hinges on getting acquainted with your unique situation. Broadly, our practice offers both extended, year-long therapy and shorter-term interventions spanning 12-20 sessions. If you have a predefined session count in mind before commencing therapy (e.g., limited coverage for only 5 sessions), kindly inform us in advance to aid in planning and tailoring your therapy accordingly.
-
Each appointment, including the initial session, is 50 minutes. During the first meeting, we embark on the journey of understanding you as an individual, gaining insight into the challenges you're encountering, and establishing your therapy objectives. It also provides an opportunity for you to evaluate what we term "fit," gauging the comfort and rapport you feel with your therapist – a pivotal aspect of the therapeutic process. Additionally, together, we'll determine the frequency of your therapy sessions.
-
You do not need a Physician’s referral to make an appointment with us. If you are considering making an appointment the first step is to send us an email or click-on the Request an Appointment button and then complete and submit the form. We will contact you to answer any questions you might have and to help decide whether our practice will meet your needs, and which of us might be the best fit for you based on your goals and your schedule.
